THE EXPERIENTIAL DIFFERENCE
The most comprehensive experiential learning available for psychedelic-assisted therapy.
This work is complex, dynamic, and personal. Experiential practicums build the kind of embodied readiness that theory alone cannot provide.
Three legal, supervised, in-person workshops across two years provide opportunities for hands-on experience with classical psychedelics that go beyond what most programmes can offer. Students both offer and receive support in individual and group settings, with in-the-moment supervision and structured feedback throughout.
Experiential practicums, food, and accommodation are all included in tuition.
WHAT ADEPT OFFERS
A complete clinical framework.
ADEPT does not teach a single therapeutic modality. It trains mental health professionals to ethically and effectively support clients through psychedelic-assisted therapy, drawing on a multidisciplinary framework that spans psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, neuroscience, Indigenous wisdom, anthropology, clinical chaplaincy, and history.
The curriculum integrates contemplative and somatic practices, critical thinking, and scientific knowledge, developing competencies across cognitive, emotional, behavioural, somatic, relational, existential, and ethical dimensions of practice.
ADEPT is not just a course. Over two years, you will develop as a clinician, build lasting relationships with a cohort of peers at your professional level, and plug into OPEN Foundation's international network of practitioners, researchers, and educators.
You will graduate with access to relevant documentation, such as preparation guides and templates for risk mitigation plans, an OPEN Community Pro membership, and ties to a community that continues well beyond the programme itself.

Pre-recorded lectures, live tutor groups, faculty Q&As, clinical supervision, and online preparation and integration sessions guided by world-renowned faculty.

EXPERIENTIAL PRACTICUMS
Work with classical psychedelics in legally supervised, supportive group and individual settings as both facilitator and participant.

Develop the confidence to work with the complexities of psychedelic therapy, under the guidance of leading experts.
In-person training takes place in the Netherlands.

ELIGIBILITY
Who ADEPT is for
Licensed mental health professionals — psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors with psychotherapy training
BIG registration or equivalent professional licence
Minimum 3 years' experience in psychotherapy or mental health care
Academic English proficiency
Minimum age 25 · Minimum BA/BSc
Other relevant backgrounds considered — psychiatric nurses, nurse practitioners, palliative care, spiritual caregivers, clinical chaplains

ADEPT is designed for clinicians who are drawn to this field because they believe it represents a meaningful development in mental healthcare, not because of the moment it's having.
The programme is for those ready to make a two-year commitment to serious, supervised, practice-based training: clinicians who are intellectually curious, motivated by professional integrity, and interested in depth rather than quick certification.
